Yufa Group’s Classification and Naming of Calcined Alumina Products
1. Classification:
The naming of our company’s products is planned to be divided into:
YF-RA series: used for refractory materials. R (refractory material);
YF-CA series: used for ceramics. C (ceramic);
YF-PA series: used for grinding and polishing. P (polishing);
YF-FA series: used for packing. F (filler);
YF-SA series: for other special purposes. S (special). There are 5 categories. (Alumina for LCD glass substrate belongs to YF-SA series).
Those with a suffix of “G” are fine powder, and those without “G” are coarse powder.
2. Sub-statement:
2.1
YF-RA series products:
YF-RA1G activated calcined alumina powder, the main feature is the original crystal size of 1 micron, the median diameter of 1.1 micron. The conversion rate was 93%.
YF-RA20G high temperature calcined alumina powder, the main feature is the original crystal size of 3.5 microns, and the median diameter of 3.6 ± 0.2 microns. The conversion rate is 96%. Mainly for ceramic stick industry, refractory industry.
YF-RA30G active calcined alumina powder with bimodal distribution, the main feature is that the particle size distribution is bimodal, and the median diameter is 2 microns. It has good fluidity and water reducing effect.
YF-RAG Hydraulic alumina micropowder is mainly used as a binder for castables.
2.2
YF-CA series products:
YF-CA1 is a coarse powder with the original crystal size of 5-6 microns burned with boric acid. Conversion rate of 97% (fired in rotary kiln).
To
YF-CA1G YF-CA1 is used as raw material to grind and process fine powder.
YF-CA20 High-temperature calcined alumina powder. The main feature is that the original fine size is 3.5 microns, the conversion rate is 96%, and it is oriented to the hot-press injection molding ceramic industry.
YF-CA2 is a coarse powder with the original crystal size of 2-3 microns burned with boric acid. The conversion rate is 96%. The boric acid residue is low, and it is fired in a rotary kiln. It is used for spray granulation dry pressing and isostatic pressing to prepare the ceramic industry (for example, the preparation of electric vacuum tube shells).
YF-CA2G YF-CA2 is ground fine powder.
YF-CA5 uses high specific gravity, low sodium, fine crystal alumina calcined in a tunnel kiln.
2.3
YF-PA series products:
YF-PA5 and YF-PA5G Coarse powder and fine powder with the original crystal size of 0.5 microns, the median diameter of the fine powder is less than 1 microns, and the D90 is less than 20 microns. (Tunnel kiln firing, fine polishing. Polishing index 9, grinding index 1).
YF-PA10 and YF-PA10G coarse powder and micropowder with the original crystal size of 1 micron, the median diameter of the micropowder is 6 microns, D90 is less than 20 microns, and the conversion rate is 92% (mainly used for polishing wax preparation, fine polishing, grinding index 2— 3. Polishing index 7-8).
YF-PA20 and YF-PA20G are coarse powder and fine powder with the original crystal size of 4 microns without boric acid firing. The conversion rate is 96% (applicable to middle polishing, grinding index 9, polishing index 2-3).
YF-PA30 and YF-PA30G are coarse powder and fine powder with the original crystal size of 1 micron without boric acid firing, and the conversion rate is 95% (suitable for medium polishing, grinding index 7-8, polishing index 5-6)
2.4
YF-FA series products:
YF-FA3 has a median diameter of 3.5 microns, a flake-like crystal morphology, a pH of 7-8, and a conductivity of 40.
YF-FA8 has a median diameter of 10 microns.
YF-FA15 has a median diameter of 14-16 microns.
2.5
YF-SA series products:
YF-SA601 Alumina powder for LCD glass substrate.
YF-SA602 Alumina powder for LCD glass substrate.
YF-SA15 Coarse powder with flaky original crystal morphology and crystal size of 12-15 microns. Used for electronic abrasives.
