Alumina is a high-hardness compound with a chemical formula of Al2O3. It has a melting point of 2054°C and a boiling point of 2980°C. It is an ionic crystal that can be ionized at high temperatures. It is often used in the manufacture of refractory materials.
Due to the huge energy consumption of alumina production, the implementation of energy-saving and emission-reduction policies has doubled the pressure on alumina companies. To ensure the completion of energy-saving and emission-reduction tasks, alumina companies will have to work hard to find various energy-saving and emission-reduction measures. The development will get better and better.
If we want to reduce alumina consumption in the production process, then we must pay attention to the following techniques:
⒈ Well controlled alumina particle size should not be too fine, preferably sandy alumina, the anode sealing material should be reduced during blanking, and the windows should be closed during processing;
⒉When changing the anode, the material on the old electrode should be stripped off, and the alumina on the remnant electrode should be cleaned up;
⒊ Control the precipitation to prevent excessive precipitation and hardening of the precipitation;
⒋ If clips are used in the production process, use strong acid and alkali resistant PP all-plastic clips to avoid pollution caused by corrosion and oxidation of the clips.
