Skis are divided into alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, snowboarding, ski jumping, cross-country skiing, and Nordic biathlon. Skating is divided into short track speed skating, speed skating and figure skating. Snowmobile projects are divided into snowmobiles and steel frame snowmobiles. Major events also include ice hockey, curling, sledding, and biathlon.

medal:
The five Olympic rings are engraved in the center of the front of the medal, and the full English name of the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics (XXIV Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022) is engraved around it. Among them, the ice and snow patterns represent the characteristics of the Winter Olympics, and the auspicious cloud patterns convey auspicious meanings.
The medal lanyard adopts the traditional mulberry silk weaving process, and the lanyard is red, which is in line with the cultural characteristics of the Chinese Spring Festival and expresses the festive blessing to the athletes.

Epidemic prevention and control:
In view of the current global situation of COVID-19 prevention and control is still severe and complicated, closed-loop management will be implemented from January 23, 2022 until the end of the Winter Paralympics. All domestic and foreign Winter Olympics participants and staff who enter the closed loop will undergo daily nucleic acid testing, and the athletes will be vaccinated.
